Amelia Dubai operates a strictly 21+ policy for the lounge and bar areas. Guests under the age of 21 are permitted in the restaurant area until 9pm, as long as they are accompanied by adults. In compliance with the UAE Law, guests must be above 21 years old for alcohol service in all areas of the restaurant.

As per company policy, bringing food or beverage from outside the venue is not permitted.

A valid photo identification may be requested for admission. Management and security staff retain the right of admission to the venue at any stage. 

Proof of Identity

According to the restaurants entry policy, all clients must have with them a valid proof of identity to show the age of 21+. This is not just a proof of age, but a proof of Identity

The following are considered as valid proof of identity:

• Passport
• UAE Residence ID
• National Identity (ID) card with a photo.
• Driving license with a Photo.

Not valid: Bank cards, ID cards without a photo.

Dress Code

Admission to Amelia Dubai is subject to a dress code. Unless otherwise specified for an event, the dress code is “smart casual”. Sportwear and beachwear is not permitted as well as shorts, caps, and open toe shoes for gentlemen. National dresses are most welcome. Exceptions are made for genuine themes/fancy dress, but “clean, tidy and decent” still apply.

Intoxication

Amelia Dubai are unable to admit persons who are intoxicated or getting close to that point and reserve the right to refuse entry or not serve any more drinks.

Please be aware that although it is not an exact science, if our bar or security staff feel that you have had enough to drink then you will be refused service and asked to leave the premises. This is for your own safety as well as to comply with the law.

The management operate a policy of zero tolerance to drugs. Persons found in possession, or suspected to be under the influence of a controlled substance will be banned from the venue and reported to the police.

Anyone found to be in possession of a weapon will be banned from the venue and the police will be called.

Behaviour

Aggressive or violent behavior and abusive language will not be tolerated anywhere, either to staff or other customers. Anyone found abusing staff or customers, will be banned from the venue and the police will be called.
